ASSORT TOKYO is a Greaty∞ salon in KAMI CHARISMA 2026
ASSORT TOKYO, our salon in Aoyama, Tokyo, was chosen as a Greaty∞ salon in KAMI CHARISMA 2026, the Japanese award and guide for hairdressers and hair salons. It is the third year in a row that ASSORT TOKYO is on this list.
The KAMI CHARISMA 2026 award was held on 9 December 2025 at the Imperial Hotel, where more than 500 hairdressers gathered — the seventh KAMI CHARISMA award. Its Greaty∞ salon list names 335 salons across Japan; ASSORT TOKYO is on it for Tokyo, under Cut.
ASSORT TOKYO was on the same Greaty∞ salon list in KAMI CHARISMA 2024 and KAMI CHARISMA 2025.
About KAMI CHARISMA
In the organiser's own words: "France has the Michelin for food. For beauty, Japan created KAMI CHARISMA." KAMI CHARISMA chooses hairdressers and hair salons from across Japan, publishes them in its salon guides, and honours them at an award ceremony every December. Its awards began with Tokyo only; since the KAMI CHARISMA 2022 award they cover all of Japan.
The choosing is done independently by the KAMI CHARISMA executive committee. Its investigators visit salons anonymously, receiving the same service as any guest, and judge each one on many points — from technique and design to its reach to the world and its sales. The lists are reviewed and renewed every year.
What Greaty∞ means
Greaty∞ (Greaty Infinity) is one of KAMI CHARISMA's four awards, first given with the KAMI CHARISMA 2022 award. Its name joins "great" and "ability", and the ∞ stands for Japan's eight regions and for unlimited potential: it chooses the hairdressers and salons that represent each region of Japan, with great ability and unlimited potential. It is its own list, separate from the KAMI CHARISMA salon awards (one, two and three crowns).
KAMISMA, the business around KAMI CHARISMA, is run by Invade Inc. BS Fuji's TV programme "Kami Charisma-tachi" follows the hairdressers chosen by the award.
ASSORT TOKYO is our salon in Aoyama, Tokyo. Its team cuts, colours and perms — digital perms and Japanese straight perms included — for guests from Tokyo and from all over the world, in Japanese and English.
