Our CEO Ken Kobayashi was a guest at the first BEAT LiVE talk event of HOT PEPPER Beauty Academy

On 23 August 2016, HOT PEPPER Beauty Academy held the first evening of its talk event BEAT LiVE in Tokyo, under the title 「革命児たちの失敗と挑戦」 — revolutionaries' failures and challenges — with our CEO Ken Kobayashi and Kantaro of LIM as its two guests.
The evening
The report introduces the two guests as revolutionaries of the beauty industry. On a high floor of a building near Tokyo Station, with the city's night view outside the windows, they talked with 'failure and challenge' as the theme: the doubts of their first years as hairdressers, the challenge of opening salons abroad, and the future of the beauty industry.
The report describes a quick, lively back-and-forth between two guests who are friends outside work, and a question time after the talk, when hairdressers in the room asked about balancing work and family and about being both a hairdresser and a company owner, and the two answered from their own experience.
The report is in Japanese, on HOT PEPPER Beauty Academy's website. It shows Assort as it was in 2016.
