more Rejob interviews our CEO Ken Kobayashi
In January 2020, more Rejob — the beauty-industry media of the job site Rejob, then called MORE BEAUTY — published a two-part interview with our CEO Ken Kobayashi in its 'Learning and careers' section. It talked with him at ASSORT TOKYO, our first salon.
The first part
The first part is about how ASSORT TOKYO earns the trust of guests from abroad. It begins with the growing number of visitors to Japan and with businesses getting ready to welcome them, and says that in the beauty industry one salon stands out for looking after guests from abroad: Assort, which also has salons outside Japan. Its chapters ask what makes guests from abroad choose Assort, and how the team is trained to look after them.
The second part
The second part turns to the team: how Assort is run so that its people can keep working there happily. Its chapters cover how the company hears the views of everyone on the team, and what it does so that its people can keep working for many years.
